3. Counter Notification
If you believe that your content was mistakenly removed or disabled due to a misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must comply with the requirements of the DMCA and include:
- Your contact information, including your full name, address, phone number, and email address.
- Identification of the removed content and its location before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of your local U.S. Federal District Court and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
4. Important Note
Submitting false or misleading information in a DMCA notice or counter-notice may result in legal liability. If you are unsure whether content is infringing, we recommend consulting with a legal professional before filing a notice.
